1. ConDFW (Feb. 17-19)-- it's basically a literary con run by old Cepheids, so current Cepheids visit and hang out with them for a weekend and help them run their con. Last year it was 20 bucks for travel, room, and whatever, but this year it's 30. No big deal. Inflation and all that. Still cheaper than going individually, and I like working the con.
2. AggieCon 43 (Mar. 23-25): How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Con-- the longest running student-run convention in the nation, possibly the world, held right here in my college town.
...a labradoodle just walked by me. Service dog in training. Sorry. *cough* Maybe it was a poodledor. Had an awfully poodle coat... Goldendoodle, probably, actually now that I think about it. *coughcough*
3. A-Kon 23 (Jun. 1-3)-- It's fuckin' A-Kon.
Now, my big new project for cosplay is a faun get-up. This includes cool legs and hopefully a leather-worked bodice of awesome, some neat things to wear that are nature-esque and awesome. In a perfect world I could have it done by ConDFW, but in all probability, it'll be finished by AggieCon. Probably. *refuses to look at the fast fast calender).
I'm also unearthing Mukuro from the grave because I've grown my hair out back to Mukuro length. I know, it's crazy, but I'm giving it a try as a promise to the boyfriend. xDD I also miss doing the scar make up (though I do NOT miss taking the scars off, mind you). Perhaps Toboe will come about again, but it was always pretty lonely doing it by myself without another Wolf's Rain cosplayer at my side. Maybe I'll coerce someone to join me.
I may also be doing Tulio from The Road to El Dorado at AggieCon, wholly dependent on my Miguel's attendance status and, y'know, my sanity and all that. I lovelovelove Tulio&Miguel, Miguel&Tulio, mighty and powerful gods, but...is second to faun. Just saiyan.
Right then. I ought to scoot-a-loo off to my class nao.
kthnxbai.
